I'm a passionate technologist and a finance geek. My first foray into software development began in 2017 when I wrote my first lines of VBA code in Excel. Not long after, I delved into Python to model deposit behaviour and "stickiness." I was amazed at how much I could accomplish by programming and wanted to learn more. In 2022, I took the leap and studied programming full-time. I particularly chose the domain of web development because a lot of data is accessed and transmitted through the web infrastructure. Also, building prototypes and proofs-of-concept can be done relatively fast with HTML and JavaScript (React). You'll find some of my work here on my portfolio site.
